Hilton Garden Inn Detroit/Novi

I was traveling alone for work and found the hotel clean, with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was a good buffet, and the guest laundry being open around the clock was handy. The free hot chocolate and coffee station was a nice touch in the winter.

The mall is right across the street, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking was plentiful, the rooms were clean, and the lobby was pleasant. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, with eggs, potatoes, fruit, oatmeal, and one waffle maker. Check-in staff and the evening staff were pleasant, though I did have a problem at checkout. After I got home, I spoke with the general manager, who made me feel valued and made sure I was satisfied with the solution. One employee interaction was negative, but it didn't change my overall impression. I'd recommend staying here.

We felt at home here over Thanksgiving. Jen and Layla were a huge help to my family of six at breakfast, and I really appreciated their kindness. The hotel was very clean, I loved the lobby, and the location worked well for us. Thanks so much, great job.

Zac was patient and kind, and helped me with so many things during my stay. He even sent me off with a hot chocolate, which made my day. Another woman at the front desk was also calm, helpful, and cheerful, giving the place a welcoming feel. I left feeling happy and cared for. Thanks to Hilton Novi for such lovely service.
