Hampton Inn O'Fallon

We come back every year for family Christmas, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I like the coat hooks, the electric car charging, and the nice gym. It's pet friendly too, with a pond area to walk around with the dog. Global brewery is across the street, and it's close to the nursing home where our grandma lives. The thin walls and ceiling are the big drawback because you can hear everything. I also don't love the barn door on the bathroom.

I was traveling alone and felt safe, even checking in at 10 at night. The room was clean and nice. The bed had a two-inch memory foam topper, but underneath was the hardest mattress in the world, and I woke up feeling a bit bruised. Still, I'd choose a hard bed in a safe, clean place over the alternatives any day.

I stayed here in December of ‘25. It's a non-smoking hotel, but my room started smelling like smoke, so I told the desk. Staff said the smell was very strong in the hallways too, but they couldn't figure out where it came from and wouldn't knock on doors to check. They made it sound like they were completely unable to help guests. Nice work.

There were loads of kids and families in town the Saturday night I stayed. There must have been a soccer tournament and a girls' softball tournament going on, and the lobby was packed. Even with all that, my room stayed quiet and the bed was comfortable. Nice hotel and a good stop. I'd recommend it.
