The breakfast was reasonable, and the hotel is in a great area. The rooms are large, so it could be a great place if it were clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean in both rooms, which is the only reason I could convince my wife to stay. She was so horrified by our first room that she booked smaller, more expensive rooms somewhere else and would’ve left if it were up to her. Guests should be aware and decide accordingly. We had to take the only two-bedroom room they had, and it was really dirty and tired. It seemed like only the beds and bathrooms were cleaned. Everything else was filthy, especially the connecting doors. The AC was very noisy, and the whole front of the indoor unit had fallen off. Its filter looked like it had never been changed, packed so solid with dirt that no air could get through. Tile was also coming up in one bathroom. The building is old and seems to have had some work done, but it felt like staff were just patching holes and painting. In some spots they hadn’t even masked anything before repainting. On our second night we moved to a room in better repair, but it was still gross. There was no temperature knob on that room’s AC, but maintenance replaced it, thankfully, so it worked. There wasn’t a chair in the bedroom, and the hair dryers looked at least 15 years old. More than once, the hallway smelled strongly of marijuana. Staff tried to contain the odor in different hallways, but it was strong enough to come through the main door. My wife also found the laundry room so nasty she went across town to do laundry. The hotel needs a full restoration, not just another patch and coat of paint.

We had a king suite that looked nice overall, with a roomy, very comfortable bed. The dishes were still dirty, though, and the floors were sticky and unclean. The internet was generally slow and poor.

The room rates were more than I could fit into my budget, so I couldn’t stay longer. But I really want to come back when I have a little extra money. It’s been a long time since I stayed somewhere so clean without cringing or feeling like I’d settled. I loved how clean the rooms were.

I spent a few months here on a work project, and the staff were easily the best part. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Jackie especially goes out of her way at breakfast to make sure people are taken care of. The location is easy to reach, right off the highway and near anything you might need. The building could use some attention, but staff were quick to handle anything that needed direct care. All in all, a positive stay.
