Days Inn Oak Grove/Ft. Campbell

The on-site manager was nowhere to be found, and I can’t imagine how security or an emergency would be handled here. Check-in was only through a remote kiosk. We’d booked a handicapped, non-smoking room, but were told it wasn’t available and put in a room other guests had rejected because people had smoked in it. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and was dirty, with no towels, soap, or toiletries. The faucet kept running, the phone didn’t work, and the bed didn’t look freshly made. Corporate guest services were no help. I returned the keys to the kiosk right away and demanded the card charges be removed. I hope we aren’t charged. I booked a beautiful room at the La Quinta in Hopkinville for the two-night stay instead. I can’t express how disgusted I am by the whole fiasco. If I could, I’d give this Days Inn minus five stars and warn everyone away from this location in Oak Grove, KY. It looked like a hooker hotel. I’m sure an AI response will be posted.

The pool in the pictures got our hopes up because we had two young kids, but it’s just a slab of concrete. Check-in wasn’t with a person, and only one key card worked. Even then, we had to body-slam the door to get it open. Inside, there was a cobweb by the door, pee stains that could’ve been cleaned, hair on the mattress despite the bedding looking new, and a gross shower.

The breakfast food seemed a year old. Please check the dates on everything, and don’t drink the orange or apple juice. It was very old, and there might be mold in the machine. Update: Could you give me a good phone number to reach you?

DISGUSTING!!! The bathroom had random hair around it and stuck under the door. The floor was warped, so the bathroom door caught; when I tried to open it after using the bathroom, the handle broke off completely. My husband had to work the mechanism with our car keys to get me out. We’d also found that our room key stopped working seconds after check-in. I checked the mattress in case of bedbugs and found a HUGE brown stain, bigger than 10 inches, on the edge of the bed. It looked like blood. I went straight back to the kiosk, since there were no real people on site, and demanded a refund. I just wanted out immediately and should’ve taken photos.
