Oakhurst Lodge

We arrived late in the evening for one night, and the receptionist was friendly. We had two queen beds on the ground floor, which made it easy to bring in our cases. The bathroom was basic but clean, with a large counter. There was no bath plug, so we showered our son instead. The room also had a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and hair dryer. Breakfast was offered free, but we didn’t have time for it. A good one-night stop on the way to Yosemite, and we’d stay again.

We just finished our second year in a row booking 11-12 rooms for a church youth trip, and we’re looking forward to next year. I appreciate the help they gave us arranging the rooms and making us feel welcome. Whenever you call, someone at the front desk is happy to help instead of making you feel like you’re interrupting their day. The rooms aren’t especially nice, but they’ve been updating them. The price and service have been awesome, and I give it five stars because they’re honest about what they offer.

We appreciated the hotel’s effort to be sustainable, and the value for the price was excellent. Our room was cozy, and the breakfast was good. We stayed two nights and had a great experience, so we can absolutely recommend it. One small suggestion: they could avoid disposable tableware at breakfast. Better insulation would help too, since the rooms can be quite drafty.

The staff were extremely helpful, our room was very clean, and we enjoyed having breakfast provided and a pool to use. It’s a cute little place that feels very family friendly. Best hotel I’ve stayed at in a while.
