The downstairs rooms open onto a small courtyard, with chairs or tables outside some doors. It’s a nice spot for coffee. The furniture is worn, but solid, and there were absolutely no bugs. Rooms have a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot. We travel for work and have stayed at quite a few hotels. This is a clean, comfortable place to sleep, with cozy beds, a clean bathroom, and fresh-smelling towels. It’s right off the highway, so getting in and out is easy. Breakfast is simple but tasty, with eggs, sausage, yogurt, toast, fruit, and coffee that’ll wake you up. Nothing fancy, just good, honest comfort.

The furniture is older, and you’ll hear trucks in the morning since it’s close to the road. But the bathroom and towels were clean, there were no bugs, and breakfast had eggs, sausage, yogurt, and great coffee. If you want a clean, comfortable place to sleep and don’t mind that everything isn’t new, this place works.

I was frustrated when I asked for a receipt for reimbursement and the kid at the front desk, who looked about 10, got borderline rude with me. His parents barely spoke English, so he had to translate. It nearly turned into an argument, and I was furious. You shouldn’t have to bring an interpreter just to ask a question. Selling a franchise to someone who can’t read or speak English and gets rude over a receipt makes it clear why this place gets two stars.

The motel is down a very dark street, and the small parking lot has just one entrance and not much lighting. It didn’t feel inviting for families or women. Things were bolted down in the rooms, which felt very uncomfortable and not relaxing. They also charged me twice for my pets.
