The desk staff were friendly, and I liked that there was an outdoor area, though the grass needed cutting and trash was scattered around the RV area. My daughter and I tried this motel for three nights while visiting some area 4th of July festivals we usually camp for. The room's cleanliness was a bigger problem: black hairs between the sheets, too many to pick out, stains on the sheets and towels, and carpet that looked dirty and unswept. There was no ice, just one big block in the machine and a steak knife beside it for chopping. Checkout was listed as 11am on the booking site, and I think on the motel site too, but housekeeping banged on our door at 9:45 asking if we were leaving soon. When I mentioned the 11am time, they said, "Nope, it's 10am," and walked off. With better upkeep and housekeeping, this place could be nice.

I used to work there, but I refuse to stay. The rooms don't match the pictures, look unchanged for over 10 years, and cost top dollar. Some have mold, there are leaks everywhere, and portable electric heaters warm the rooms while the front lobby has no heat. Be aware the electricity might be shut off over an unpaid bill. There's no kitchen for food and no vending machines. I also saw a drunk employee who could get mouthy. Don't leave a deposit, because getting it back can be difficult. I've called around, and Super 8 is cleaner, nicer, and cheaper than this dump. I wouldn't spend even one night in any of those rooms. Go elsewhere. I only gave it a star so I could post. No stars for that dump, unless you want to sell drugs.

The room was a good size, and I liked how it looked, but we had no water during the whole day and a half we were there. We had booked a jacuzzi room, and I assume they knew the water wasn't working and that it wouldn't be fixed before we arrived. The heater kept shutting off every five minutes, and we woke up to a room at 42 degrees. The owner was nice, but seemed shady about pricing. Staff were extremely kind and friendly. He had promised $25-30 back if the water wasn't restored, but we got no refund. We were also supposed to get our $30 deposit back at checkout. Instead, he said there was smoking damage, though we don't smoke. There were already cigarette burn holes in the comforter and curtains, and burns on the jacuzzi's sides. The bar food wasn't appetizing and was expensive. I wouldn't recommend this place to someone just out of 25 years in prison.

The staff were friendly and wonderful, but the property needs a lot of work. The huge room was heated with a space heater, and the stained loveseat wasn't something I wanted to sit on. We slept in our own sheets and blankets, and could hear everything said in the next room. The place was dirty and falling apart.

Padded metal chairs were placed in rows with so little space that moving around was difficult, even though the audience wasn't large. At the February 1 concert, a 2 1/2 hour show with two nationally known Christian artists, the lobby ceiling was missing, leaving ductwork wrapped in insulation and pipes exposed. I first thought the cold was from doors opening and closing, but the concert area had little or no heat. Most people, including the featured artist, kept on winter coats, and many wore gloves. The venue owners gave no explanation. If this was a one-time problem, guests should have been warned; if it happens regularly, it needs fixing. The event wasn't well advertised, probably for the best. I give them credit for bringing known Christian artists to the area, but this could keep others from adding it to their tours. I won't attend another event there until major building repairs are made.
