Casablanca Oceanside Inn

We picked this place at the last minute for a few days at the beach to celebrate our 27th anniversary, and the price for a balcony room overlooking the boardwalk and ocean was the best we found. It's a fun, independent Ocean City motel a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and shops. Check-in was quick. We got a car decal and parked across the street in a lot with plenty of spaces; we could still unload in front of the hotel first. There's not a lot of extra frills, but our room was clean and had the beach view we wanted. The bathroom had enough shelves for my makeup and toiletries, and the shower was hot with strong pressure, great after coming back sandy and damp. The king bed in room 407 was firm, which suited us for two nights. Our room and balcony felt private, and even with families at the pool, we hardly heard anyone. We enjoyed sitting outside to take in the view. For the best balcony view, I'd ask for 407, 408, 507, or 508. One small tip: the floors are laminate, so sand comes in with wet towels, the cooler, umbrella, and everything else. Bring a little brush broom.

We had such a good stay, and the place is beautiful. The balcony faced the bay rather than the ocean, but we still got stunning views and lots of sunsets. Check-in went smoothly, and the staff were sweet, said hello and good morning, and brought what we needed when we asked. Our room was very clean, the lights all worked, and the AC cooled it down nicely on hot nights. The stove, fridge, and freezer worked really well. There's room for your things, with a four-drawer dresser, a roomy closet, and a few hangers. The pool was clean, though there was a little sand at the bottom, which you'd expect at an Oceanside hotel. We read complaints about rude staff but didn't experience that at all. I'd absolutely stay again; it made the trip much nicer.

This was my third stay, and I spent three nights this time. The room was very clean, the staff were amazing, and they accommodated everything I needed. The location is right in the middle of things, close to major attractions and the boardwalk, and it was a great value compared with spending triple down the street. The shower pressure was excellent, which matters to me, and the pillowcases and towels felt crisp and fresh. It was 95 degrees outside, but the new AC unit kept my room at a comfortable 68, as I set it. The families and kids all seemed happy too.

The staff were always smiling, offered useful local tips, and went out of their way to help us. Everything felt fresh and well cared for, from the linens to the bathroom, and the room was comfortable and clean. Casablanca Oceanside Inn is steps from the beach and Ocean City boardwalk. We could be on the sand within minutes of leaving our room, and boardwalk food was close by. A great beach break that didn't cost a fortune.
