It’s about a block and a half from the beach, and basically somewhere to sleep. We were charged another $130 at check-in after already paying in full: a $100 damage deposit and $10 a night for parking. They said the deposit was listed on booking.com, but it was in very small print. We got there around 8 p.m. and weren’t told where our room was. The hallways were dark, so we had to use our phone flashlights to find it. The room was basic, with two double beds that were so high I struggled to climb onto them at 5'2". There was a six-cubby dresser with a mirror, a table for two, and a small fridge. Sand was on the floor when we arrived. The shower needed to be turned all the way hot to get warm water, and the tub took at least 45 minutes to drain, leaving you standing in three or four inches of water. The toilet seat was too small for the toilet. No Wi-Fi password was provided, so I used my hotspot. Again, just a place to lay your head.
