The first day in condo 308 was great, then construction began next door in the morning. I asked the people in 307 if they'd be working all week, and they said yes. My husband and I had planned a relaxing vacation, but it turned into the opposite. I contacted my host to explain and said we'd check out a day early. I understand condo owners may not tell one another about upcoming construction, but I hoped for an offer to refund one night's stay. There wasn't one. The host had answered all my messages quickly before, then seemed to go silent. I hope they tell future guests booking with them about the work next door.
