The deck, pet-friendly policy, view, and location were the good parts. The unit and building were in such poor shape that $2500 felt far too high; it should have been $1800. The cleaners hadn't done the job: sand was all over the floor and inside the pull-out sofa, the glass table had rings, and the sliding main entrance was dirty. It smelled awful when we walked in, and we found what looked like mouse droppings under the sofa cushions and between the stove and refrigerator. The AC units and wood furniture were dusty. There was no bathroom trash can, the bath mat had been left outside at the bottom of the building, and the towel rack fell apart. The vacuum just spat sand back out. One bedroom window had been left open for days before we noticed, and the screen door was torn and wouldn't lock. Parking was very tight and badly laid out. The furniture is old and needs updating. We won't stay here again and can't recommend this unit unless things change.
