Ramada by Wyndham Oceanside

The owner greeted my boyfriend and me herself on our last visit, Jan. 21-22, 2026. She was professional, kind, and respectful, and her compliment about his shirt made me smile. We've stayed here five times now and still have no complaints. I especially like the shower caps since I have long hair and don't want it wet. The bed was comfortable too, and I hated having to leave at 11 a.m. The ID check for every guest seems reasonable to keep people from sneaking others in. We'll come back, the price is hard to beat. 😊😊 The front desk clerk hasn't been rude to us, despite what some reviews say. A cash deposit is required if you're staying more than three nights.

We stayed Jan. 23-25 for two nights and had a comfortable, pleasant time at an affordable price. Both women at the desk were welcoming, friendly, funny, and helpful. I didn't get the manager's name, but I think she's the manager. She took time with us, explained where things were, and even walked us outside to point out the door to the second floor. If we travel to the area again, we'd book here without a second thought. While we were still in the lobby, another guest was rude to both staff members. Her husband didn't have ID to check in, she said she hadn't known about the $200 cash deposit or pet fee even though both policies are on the website, and she was upset that the lobby ATM didn't give her money. It had worked for us, and people should check their account balance before traveling. The women tried several times to help, stayed professional, and got snarky comments in return before she stomped out. These staff members work in a demanding, stressful industry, and it's not okay to blame them for problems you've caused yourself. Think about your own attitude before leaving a bad review when they're trying to help. Thanks again to the office staff, you're awesome, and we had a really nice stay. 👍

The place felt worn down in spots. There was crust visible on parts of the walls, the toilet shifted when I sat on it, and the sink and shower both drained slowly. Some carpet was torn and lifting by the door. Pets are allowed, which was nice, though checking in with one means a $200 cash-only deposit. Service was okay, but the staff seemed unenthusiastic. Weekend parking is very limited. For the price it wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.

I've stayed here twice and really like the place. Scott, the night receptionist, and Sofia on mornings are both amazing and give great customer service. The room and the inside areas were very clean. The bed was really comfortable, the shower had the strong pressure I needed, and the towels were soft. I highly recommend it.
