Hampton Inn Ogallala

We were 11 hours from home and suddenly without our vehicle, and everyone at the hotel went out of their way to make the unexpected stay in Ogallala a good one. Donny, Beth, and everyone else we met deserve a big thanks. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we could walk to restaurants and stores.

The hotel feels new, and since it’s only two years old, everything is in great shape and clean throughout. My room was spacious, with a comfy bed and pillows and a spotless bathroom with a great walk-in shower. I was traveling for business and got checked in by two very friendly staff at the counter. They invited me back to the lobby for complimentary beer, wine, and snacks until 7 pm. An associate and I had a nice debrief over drinks and snacks before dinner. I’ll use this place again when I’m in the area.

Iziaha deserves a big shoutout for the service. The check-in was seamless, and the hotel has a smart layout, clean rooms, and no noise from the hall or neighbors. It’s pet friendly, too. I’ve spent four years as an assistant manager of housekeeping, so I tend to judge places harshly, and I’d recommend staying here.

I don’t usually choose hotels right by the interstate, but this Hampton Inn is really nice and looks fairly new. My wife and I stayed overnight and found it well maintained, with very nice people working there. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, but fresh and good. I’d gladly stay again when traveling this way.
