There was cable TV, but no breakfast, and I didn't get any Wi-Fi information, if Wi-Fi was even available. The room felt expensive for what it offered. I visited Okeechobee for the weekend during the county fair and rodeo, so that may explain why the rate was higher than in reviews I'd read. Had I known how small the room was, I'd have booked elsewhere for the same nightly price and gotten more amenities, even though this place was a convenient 15 minutes from where I was visiting. The room was clean. The bathroom was small but had a shower, toilet, and pedestal sink. The driveway is narrow, though you can park right in front of your door.

Don't stay here. Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs. The people were among the rudest I've ever met, and the whole thing felt like an MK Ultra experience. I don't know how this place stays open. The health department should be called. We didn't have much available to choose from, but staying here was the worst mistake we made on our trip.

My family had a room booked for one night, but got up to find there was no hot water for showers. They told the office, whose staff were very rude and wouldn't give them a credit. The only option offered was to shower in another room. They were already dressed and ready to leave, so that was unacceptable.

We come here on trips to Okeechobee, and the staff are always nice. The rooms are basic but clean. This time we had room 29, where the sink had very low water pressure. It also took two days with the air conditioner set steadily at 60 degrees before the room cooled down. Apart from that, it's a great little place to stay.

A good choice for one night, and I do recommend the place. It's older but well equipped. It isn't the Hilton, but I didn't pay Hilton prices either.
