The front desk woman was very nice, and the shower was clean, but the water pressure was low and it wouldn’t stay hot. We only stayed one night and I won’t return. At 2 a.m. I had to call the office to get people yelling outside to leave, and I barely slept. When we arrived, the room looked okay, and they showed it to us so we could decide whether it was acceptable. We were tired, so we took it. There were a few people outside. The sheets had burn holes, the walls had questionable stains, and the bathroom floor had burn marks.

The price was great and the staff were friendly. But the bathroom door was hard to open and close, the bed kept slipping off its platform, and the TV had no power cord. The beds only had sheets, with no soap or other necessities. There were homeless people all around. We heard arguing, what sounded like gunshots, and a woman screaming.

The room and the hotel both smelled awful, and there was trash and cigarette butts scattered around, especially on the third floor. The guy at check-in was nodding off. Later, a wall lamp fell onto my boyfriend while we were asleep. There were homeless people around the property, too. This was terrible. You get what you pay for, I guess, but I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

The room itself was in rough shape: the deadbolt didn't work, the furniture and cabinets were falling apart, and there were no washcloths, coffee maker, hairdryer, ice, or vending machines. We found bedbugs, too. We had booked a king, but were given two doubles, with only one bed made. After we argued about it, the attendant brought us bedding and left us to make the bed ourselves. The first room we were assigned wouldn't open, so we had to return downstairs and outside to find him. The elevator wasn't working, and he went back up with us before going back down to get another room. When we arrived, the front desk clerk said there was an extra $50 deposit, even though the room was paid in full and neither the booking nor confirmation mentioned it. We had arrived after hours and had to press the service button. A man from a group sitting in the parking lot then came over waving a phone and saying, “I'm here.” He turned out to be the clerk, and he seemed very high. The other men had been smoking marijuana and drinking, and three came inside loudly while we waited, then went upstairs making enough noise for us to hear them the whole way. The property is in a terrible part of town, with tents in the field across the street.
