The breakfast staff were gracious and encouraged us to eat what we wanted, even though we arrived two minutes before closing, which was our fault. That made for a pleasant, peaceful stay. The hotel is clean, fairly new, easy to reach from I-40, and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet, though we could hear the thunder during some very rough weather. There were a couple of issues: the HVAC had a temperature gradient from the entry toward the far end of the room, and the toilet kept running for 5-10 minutes after each flush because the valve didn’t seal well. I told the front desk and they entered a work order. A big thank you to the food service team.

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the hotel had what we needed. But the room had a strange smell, which my Febreze helped with. The breakfast area carpet was stained, and the new wallpaper was already starting to peel. It was okay, just not up to the usual Marriott standard for me.

It’s a handy spot, within walking distance of several restaurants and a good coffee shop. Nice for bookending work travel days with coffee in the morning or evening. Check-in and checkout were quick, and the front desk staff were generally pleasant and helpful.

The front desk staff were great, professional and helpful, but the rooms were nowhere near the quality I expect from a Springhill Marriott. We had to switch rooms three times. In one, I could feel the mattress springs; another had a toilet that still didn’t work after maintenance “fixed” it. I looked at five rooms in all, and one sofa had white circular drips on it. We ended up in a room where the beds felt like wooden boards. I was in OKC for a funeral, and this stay only added to our grief. It was exhausting, uncomfortable, and very disappointing.
