Dock House Inn

The pool was cleaned and treated every day, and I’m already looking forward to going back next year. The staff are extremely friendly and attentive, and the rooms are very clean and recently updated. I’ve stayed at different hotels in the area, and this one is by far the best. The location is perfect, just a short walk through the park to the pier. There are two inexpensive stores and a fantastic restaurant right next door.

After a day at the beach, the amazing pool was just right. The beach is only a very short walk away, and the rooms were clean and spacious, with a great bathroom and kitchen. There were plenty of amenities, utensils, and plates. The office staff were so kind when I asked for extra towels and gave me lots. The AC was great, and we could turn it down or make it stronger whenever we wanted. We had an amazing stay at this perfect little inn. If I come back to OOB, I’ll definitely stay here again. We’d definitely stay again, and I’d recommend Dock House Inn to anyone visiting Old Orchard. My husband and I were there for three nights with our small dog, and the place met or exceeded what I expected from a beach motel. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the location was great. Our queen-bed room also had a couch/futon, small table, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and large TV. The bathroom was small but worked fine. The AC worked well, and there was a nice ceiling fan. It’s an easy half-mile walk to the beach, with a cute park, sub shop, and a couple of dollar stores right next door.

For Labor Day weekend, it was just right. There’s a dog park next door and easy access to the pier, so the location works whether you have a dog or not. They’re happy to accommodate your needs with a smile, though this isn’t the place if you expect room service and housekeeping every night.
