The staff were awesomely friendly and helpful, and Bella and Sam did what they could to accommodate us. They offered free parking, breakfast each day, and about 40k Bonvoy points. The rest of the stay was a struggle, though. We went through about four rooms, maybe five. In the first room, the closet doorknob fell off. I brought it to the front desk, and Bella offered us another room when I went back for our things. We appreciated that. The heater in room two didn't work. Room three was okay at first, so we stayed two nights, but the sink leaked and a couple of bugs were flying around. I got two bites. On the second night the heat failed, so we had to use a radiator heater. The first one was broken, and the replacement didn't do much. The room only reached around 72 to 74°, and with a balcony and a large door, cool air kept mixing in. Room four had dog hair all over the floor and upholstery, and it didn't seem to have been cleaned. Room five was fine, but we didn't get there until around 2:00 in the morning, when we were already about to leave. I also agree with another review that breakfast wasn't very good. The staff deserve five stars, but the rest of the hotel needs work.

Chef Victor put together a lovely spread of fruit, nuts, cheeses, and desserts for us. We had a wonderful holiday return stay at The Alexandrian and felt at home again. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Sam, the general manager, and the whole team made us feel welcome and went above and beyond. We’ve stayed here several times and would happily return. The beds are comfortable, and our terrace balcony looked out over a quiet courtyard. Garage parking in the basement was convenient, too. It’s a nice hotel in Alexandria, with plenty of restaurants and shops just an easy walk away.

The room was spotless and stylish, and I appreciated the Malin & Goetz bath amenities. Those thoughtful touches made it feel like the team cares about guest comfort. The location at The Alexandria Old Town is hard to beat, with restaurants, shops, and plenty to explore nearby. Bella, Nyla, Sam, and Beza made the experience especially good. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. A couple of small issues came up, but the staff handled them quickly and efficiently, always with a smile. I loved my stay here and would definitely recommend it for a visit to Alexandria. Great people and a really nice vibe.
