Suwannee Gables Motel and Marina

The river is gorgeous, and having a boat launch and access right on the motel property was a great bonus. There are several fire pits and spots to lounge while looking out over it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and remember to ask them about making s'mores! Our room was very clean and had been recently renovated. We had a really pleasant stay at Suwannee Gables, with a nice mix of modern comforts and that Old Florida feel. A great place to slow down by the river.

I got a recommendation from the host for dinner at Suwannee Belle Landing, and the food and atmosphere were both great. Communication was excellent the whole time, too, which made a nice change from the usual business hotel experience. I picked Suwannee Gables for its closeness to a business appointment, but it became a lovely little retreat. The hosts welcomed me so warmly, and I enjoyed working outside on the balcony and taking a peaceful walk down to the beautiful Suwannee River. I had such a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon with my husband and our bass boat.

We've stayed at Suwannee Gables twice now, and we'll definitely be back. The owners and staff were kind and accommodating, and it was nice hearing about the motel's history from them. We brought our dog Moses, and appreciated that the motel welcomes pets and has a good area to walk them. Our balcony room was lovely, too, with a nice spot to sit and take in the beautiful weather and river. 😊❤️

The owners are wonderful, and you can feel how much care they've put into making the place welcoming, with Old Florida character and modern comfort. I loved the morning view from my balcony and the amazing sunset over the river. My newly renovated room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful. Suwannee Gables was the perfect place to stop while I was in Old Town. Can't wait to return!
