The rooms are a little dated, but still comfortable. It’s quiet and clean, away from the main tourist crowd, and hiking trails are within walking distance of the front door. The new, large hot tubs are a nice touch.

My family has been coming to the Olympic Village Inn for years, and it’s always been outstanding. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. It’s close to the village, skiing, and hiking, with a quick walk to the slopes and village as well as shuttle service. The facilities, rooms, and amenities are great, and every stay has been an amazing experience.

As an owner for 25 years, I’ve found this to be a perfect spot for enjoying Olympic Valley, whether skiing at Palisades Tahoe, visiting the Village, or biking alongside the Truckee river. Recent upgrades to the rooms and shared areas have made the OVI experience even better.

Getting onto the slopes was so convenient, with the hotel right by the ski-in/ski-out access. The rooms were roomy and comfortable, and the amenities looked brand new and nicely updated. Everything was well kept and welcoming, which made for a fantastic mountain getaway from beginning to end. Highly recommend it.

We liked the location, especially how close it is to Palisades, and the shuttle made getting there even easier. The place is old-fashioned, though it has some updates. Our beds were comfortable and clean, the mini kitchen had plenty of cookware, and the bathroom was tidy despite the old tiles. There are three hot tubs and a swimming pool. We tried one of the tubs one night and enjoyed it. I’d stay here again for a future Tahoe ski trip.
