The dog-friendly touches made traveling with our pup easy. They supplied bowls and dog beds, and even gave him treats. We booked a one-bedroom suite at the PlumpJack Inn for a ski trip, though it’s really two connecting hotel rooms: one with a king bed, the other with a pull-out couch, table, and chairs. Each has its own bathroom, which meant no sharing. We had a mini fridge, and renting a microwave for $25 for the stay was worth it for us. The location is hard to beat, right across from the Village and close to the Tram, so getting around in ski boots was much easier. Staff at the front desk were warm and helpful, with good suggestions for meals and road safety tips before we left. They also held our skis behind the desk. The on-site restaurant and bar is open Thursday through Monday. We ate there one night and loved it, but I wish it were open all week. We can’t wait to return, especially with our dog.

We’d stay here again, even though the hot tubs were out of order and our room wasn’t cleaned during the three days we were there. The Plumpjack Inn is so convenient for Palisades, just steps from the lift and village, and parking is included. We loved the restaurant downstairs, especially the delicata squash pasta and homemade ice cream selection. Everyone we met was kind and helpful. Tommy even helped shovel our car out and get us safely out of the parking lot.

We came to Plumpjack for a wedding and were blown away by the beautiful spaces for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. The location is incredible, everything was clean, and every staff member we met was sweet and helpful. Even passing the front desk, someone would ask if we needed water, directions, or recommendations. It felt like a five-star hotel, and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed somewhere with staff this wonderful. We can’t wait to visit again.
