After skiing, we especially liked unwinding in one of the resort’s well-kept hot tubs. The staff at Everline were accommodating throughout our stay, and we enjoyed the range of dining, from breakfast to the high-end steakhouse. We booked adjoining rooms, 622 and 624, for a four-day ski trip with family. They were spacious and comfortable, with beds and pillows that let everyone sleep well. The mountain views were spectacular, and having a mini kitchen and fireplaces made the rooms even more appealing. We also appreciated being able to ski in and out and use the resort’s lift to the Palisades-Tahoe mountain range. We’ll be back for another ski vacation.

Ski access made the weekend especially easy. The concierge could check our snow gear, and there’s a shuttle to Palisades village for High Camp, shopping, and dining. Our family also loved sledding down the big hill to the right of the lift. Check-in was seamless, and the room was clean and comfortable, despite the rough reviews I’d read beforehand. At Sandy’s, Jessica was attentive and friendly. Our daughter left her coloring book and crayons behind, and Jessica held onto them until she saw us again. Erick made great espresso martinis and kept refilling water glasses even with a full bar. Portions were generous, especially the huge nachos, and we could split many appetizers. The chairs throughout the restaurant were quite wobbly, though, and I hope they find a fix. We also had kind service at Cascades for breakfast and brunch, the après-ski outdoor bar, the lobby bar, and the Palisades help counter for lift tickets. Kids under 11 eat free at Cascades with an adult meal. We hadn’t been back since 2023, but after this visit we won’t wait so long again. We made family memories we’ll keep for a lifetime. It was quiet, and I’d come back even though it’s a bit pricey. The room itself was a letdown, dusty and somewhat worn, maybe because of the building’s age. The lobby and outdoor decorations looked lovely, and the scenery around the property was beautiful. Tahoe City is about a 15-minute drive away, with a Safeway and several restaurants. I remember the ice rink renting skates for an hour, $20 for children and $35 for adults. In summer, the area operates as a golf course and makes a nice walking path.

The setting feels peaceful and private while still giving easy access to what Lake Tahoe has to offer. The grounds are well kept, with beautiful mountain views, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. Pool, spa, and nearby outdoor activities give you plenty to do. Staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived, and went out of their way to make the stay special. It was a five-star visit for me, and I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved the spacious, comfortable rooms, and dinner at Six Peaks Grille with our three sons was a highlight. The restaurant is under new management, and our hostess greeted us warmly and stayed engaged during the meal. Our server was attentive and knew the menu well. The cauliflower was amazing, and the pork chop was seasoned just right. The manager checked that we were having a great experience, and we were.
