Executive Inn Opp

I had a terrible experience. My boss had reserved the room through hotels.com, but at the hotel they said I had to pay in person and that the amount already paid wasn't valid. They also tried to charge me an extra service fee for my service animal, even though I had its ID card and everything. The lobby had towels laid out, like there were leaks in the ceiling. There was already a police officer there over another complaint about them.

The pool wasn't open, which was the downside, but otherwise it was amazing. I'd stay again.

The beds were comfortable and the bedding looked clean, but the room took hours to cool down because it was so hot when we arrived. The place looked worn throughout, from the rusty steps to the bathroom that needed paint. There was no breakfast, and when we left the key, nobody was at the front desk and the office door was locked. You get what you pay for.

The rooms and the washing and drying machines were very clean, and the owners or management were accommodating. After staying at many hotels and motels all over the U.S., this has been my best motel experience by far. It was worth what I paid. If I come back to Opp Alabama, I’ll absolutely stay at the executive inn again.
