Bayview is a peaceful place to get away from the busy main strip and beachfront. It sits right on the bay, with a beautiful view from the pier, and there are boat slips plus an area to rinse off salt water. The pool is clean and pleasant. Several good seafood spots are just a few minutes away by car, and the beach is only a short drive when you want sand between your toes.
The bay views are beautiful, and the place has a clean, cared-for seaside feel with a rustic chic look. They make you feel at home. Getting there is the frustrating part: there’s no sign from the direction you have to enter, and it’s nearly impossible to find. Even with very clear directions, getting in and out is a nightmare because of where it sits, and there’s no alternate exit.
This was the worst place I’ve stayed. The board members were rude and belligerent when I asked questions. They clearly seem opposed to people renting here.
🚨 Do not book here. 🚨 We ran into what felt like a bait and switch and fraud, with blatant false advertising. When we called, they were extremely unhelpful. The whole thing seemed shady. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this place. If you do book, beware of what I consider fraud.
A really convenient place to stay. If you bring a boat, you can launch it right there.
