There was a beeping sound from a maintenance closet the whole time we were there. The pool layout also concerned me: its 5 ft section is in the middle, with 3 ft to 4 ft sections on either side. That seems like a safety issue for small children. We also had a large group of guests who were rude and inconsiderate. Their kids screamed in the hallways, slammed doors, and loudly sang cheers every night past midnight, while the adults didn’t keep an eye on them. The group left trash all over the pool patio and piled it by the bin, played loud music all night, and ate and drank in the water. They took over the pool so other guests couldn’t enjoy it. We emailed the management company and got no reply. Other guests we spoke to at the beach had the same experience and had also emailed without hearing back. As for the condo itself, it was nice and looked clean, but there was a horrible moldy, mildew smell. I couldn’t figure out where it came from. We wondered if it was a moldy mop or dirty mop water from the cleaning company. I mopped the floors again and the odor improved. The owner apologized and offered to reimburse the cleaning products, but it took two days to get a response. I’d suggest staying elsewhere for an orange beach vacation.
