We were pleasantly surprised by this two-bedroom, two-bath townhouse-style unit in a low-density building. It has two outdoor balconies, though there's no beach view. The Perdido Tower shields it from beach winds, and the metal roof and brick firewalls seem like a good fit beside the Gulf. It's between Phoenix 8 and Phoenix East, with The Perdido Beach Resort next door, so it can work well for overflow guests. The white sandy beach is about 350 steps away. It's affordable and close to the top area Seafood restaurant Zekes. I'd highly recommend staying here.
