The views of the pool and ocean were great, and the lobby was always clean. But we won’t return, mainly because of the hot water problem and how it was handled. We stayed in condo 704 with four people. We’re not fussy about rooms and aren’t in them much, as long as they’re clean enough to sleep comfortably. On Friday we reported that every faucet except the shower had hot water. They told us that was normal and asked us to make do for the rest of the stay. When we declined, they said a plumber could come Monday. We went four days without a hot shower and had to boil water for baths. Pretty annoying with four people. There were Reese’s cups under the couch. A lot of the trim was rusty, broken, or discolored, some drawers had been screwed together, and the TV stands were really worn. The place needs updating. The hot tub looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a year or more, and the whole place seemed due for a good scrubbing.

Great central location, with beautiful rooms and gorgeous views. The wheelchair ramp setup needs fixing, though. Getting to the elevators is difficult, especially with luggage or packages. And the hot tub is more of a warm tub. Still, a great place overall!

The views are beautiful, and the condo seems popular with families with kids. Our unit was nice and clean, though the shower ran a bit cool. The walls are very thin. People upstairs partied until 4:30AM on our last night, and I had a 12 hour drive home that day, so I was exhausted. I wouldn’t stay again unless I could get the top floor.

The building has nice little patios on every unit and seems well cared for, considering the sea air. The views are great, though the solid railings cut into them a bit from the patios and rooms. There are two pools and a hot tub, and the location right on the beach is nice. There are notices posted everywhere, a lot of them silly, as if the place were run by an old trailer park manager. The beach seating map is another annoyance. Condo chairs cost $25 to use, or you can bring your own if you stick to the mapped area. To the west there’s vacant land and beach where you can sit anywhere. You can’t leave your things on the beach after sunset because of environmental concerns, but rental chairs, canopies, wood storage boxes, and other things are left out all the time. The main lot fills quickly, so you may need to park across the street. The road is busy. There’s a crosswalk with flashers, but few cars slow down, which could be a problem if you have mobility issues.

We had a blast for four nights. Getting to the beach was easy, and there are showers along the walk there. The location was great too, with lots of interesting shops and places to eat right across the street from PS.
