Phoenix West 1402 3 Bedroom Condo

A nice, family-friendly place, and the lazy river is so good! We had a great time here. My one gripe is that parking costs extra, and that wasn’t disclosed. They should make the fee clearer when people book.

The location is great, right on the Gulf, and we loved the views. The condo is roomy and has a nice ice maker in the bar area, but it’s basic overall. It’s relatively clean, though the carpets and flooring aren’t. The individual unit has basic amenities: one toilet paper roll in each bathroom, one paper towel roll, no hair dryer, no condiments, and just a tiny amount of dish soap. It does have two irons. The old pillows are foam flattened with age. The furniture is stained, dinged up, and old. The main room TV screen looks scorched with acid, or banged or melted. A deep clean and some updating would go a long way. My brother and his wife rented through Liquid Life, and we stayed with them.

The view is unbeatable, and we love Phoenix West’s amenities and staff. Charlotte, the rental agent, has looked after us fantastically for three years straight. She deserves more than five stars. The condos themselves are another matter. At the premium prices owners charge, I’d expect them to be close to pristine. I didn’t expect paint peeling from bathroom cabinets or holes in a bathroom door that doesn’t lock. These were minor things and didn’t affect our vacation, but I still wonder why the condo wasn’t in better shape.

Our corner condo was spacious and very clean, with a great Gulf view. It stayed mostly shaded all day, with a nice breeze. Parking was plentiful, access was easy, and there was little to no wait for the elevators.
