The construction noise was unbearable, and workers were constantly outside our windows. The pool was shut because of the work, and one elevator was out for two and a half days. Our balcony also became inaccessible because construction started the morning after we checked in, and nobody had told us beforehand. When my husband asked about it, the office woman pulled out a file and said, “well this is what we sent them. They should have told you.” She showed no sympathy even though we’d spent a lot of money, for us, to stay in one of their condos. I understand the management company should have informed us, but Beachball Properties blamed the HOA for not having the right email address to correspond with them. This condo should not have been rented while this was going on. The woman in the office was rude and unprofessional, and we won’t stay with Romar House again.

The view stays perfect, even when the sky is cloudy. This is a well-maintained vacation spot that’s always clean, quiet, and peaceful.

The condo itself is beautiful, but the front desk service was trash. The woman there was one of the rudest customer service people I’ve dealt with. We spent thousands and were treated like garbage. I wish I’d read the reviews first, since so many mention her. I wonder how many bad reviews about the front desk it’ll take before she’s removed. Apparently, a lot. We asked for three parking passes and nobody told us they won’t issue more than two, no matter what. Even with a three-bedroom condo, the third person has to pay around $25 a day to park overnight in a paid lot. I was that third guest, so I got stuck with the expense. The owners should have told us about this inconvenient detail. We won’t be back.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the exercise room is brand new with lots of options. I really like staying here. I just wish the pool and sauna were open, since neither is available right now.

It was a nice place, but the bathroom doors were too narrow for my wheelchair, despite the condo being described as wheelchair accessible.
