Room 352 was much smaller and more cramped than I expected from the pictures. Walking straight to the beach was nice, but parking and the noise made the stay less enjoyable. The neighbors had a karaoke machine going, which may just have been bad luck. The fridge never got cold, though the freezer worked. The tiny bathrooms looked like they hadn't been scrubbed for a while and were difficult to shower in. I also ended up taking the stairs most of the time because the elevator was slow.
The furniture inside Sugar Beach 240 and on the balcony was nice, but that wasn't enough to offset the problems. The condo and refrigerator had a strange smell, and the place was noisy from the pool below the balconies and the complex next door. The bathroom ceilings are low, so a man over 5'10" would find them cramped. The refrigerator still works, but it's old and looks like junk. We won't stay here again.
Room 217 is our favorite vacation spot. The place is well kept, the pools and beach are clean, and the grills are nice. Everyone is friendly, even the guards at the gate.
The unit was only marginally clean, and the halls were a hellscape. I wouldn't go back.
