Sugar beach is amazing, and I was considering buying there. Then I learned about their less-than-transparent insurance assessment. Special assessments are meant for unforeseen expenses, not to be built into the budget. They should just raise the monthly dues.
Nice place for families, with a kiddie pool, easy beach access, good parking, and a pleasant grilling area.
The location is right on the beach, with only a short walk to the water, and the price was good for the area. All three pools at the residence were clean and nice. Our condo did need a little maintenance: the washcloth rack in the shower and the towel rack in the bathroom were both coming loose from the wall.
A really nice place to stay. Security is on from 2 pm to 10 pm.
The whole property is in disrepair. We found a roach in unit 379, canceled our stay, and went somewhere else.
