Red Roof Inn & Suites Lake Orion/ Auburn Hills

Amy, our housekeeper, always checks that my son and I have what we need, and Danny and Chelsea have both been so sweet to us. We had a clean, roomy upstairs room with a great view, and even a couch. No bugs, which is a plus! There's an indoor heated pool too 🙂 I'd definitely recommend staying here if you're in the area.

The front desk guy was extremely courteous and gave great service. For a Red Roof Inn, the standards were what you'd expect, and the price was amazing. The location works really well too, with lots of shopping options and suburb hills nearby, and downtown Detroit only 30 minutes away.

The rooms are nice, and Danny is always friendly. Amy has helped us a lot too, which is why this recent stay was such a letdown. Neither of them was there a few days ago, and the service sucked. We're used to dealing with Danny and Amy, but this time the experience was absolutely horrible. My husband and I stop in here from time to time, but we won't be coming back after that.

The price, a recommendation, and the fact that it's pet friendly are why I came while visiting from South Carolina. Check-in was easy, and Danny at the front desk was welcoming and nice. He has definitely turned this place around. Five years ago, it wasn't this clean, quiet, or well maintained. The staff is amazing, and the rooms are 10/10. Whenever I had a question or concern, Danny handled it promptly and efficiently. I felt extremely welcome and comfortable here. I'll recommend it to friends, family, and acquaintances. Thanks to Danny and his staff for making the stay comfortable.
