After an accident and medical leave, we contacted the hotel as we entered the 15-day cancellation period. We supplied the medical documents they asked for, but they wouldn’t offer any flexibility. We offered to move our dates to the off-season, when they had availability. It would’ve cost less and filled rooms for them, but they wouldn’t consider it. Instead, they kept insisting we cancel outright and lose our money, even though we were willing to stay on other dates. We chose this booking because of its cancellation policy and expected some leeway for a serious, unexpected situation. The hotel’s lack of empathy and business sense was deeply disappointing. Be careful booking here. If something unforeseen happens, don’t expect help or flexibility, even with a reasonable proposal.
