The pool was spotless, the amenities were nice, and I liked the staff and the lobby self-serve kiosk. The AC worked amazingly, which matters so much in Florida. There were a few cosmetic issues in the room, but nothing major. I’d definitely stay again.

The service was the best part of our three days and two nights here with my girlfriend. Staff were helpful across the board, and after the first night’s roach problem, someone, presumably a manager, quickly upgraded us to a suite. It was an unexpected and very appreciated gesture. One staff member had initially seemed unsure what to do and said someone would come in the morning. The staff really do go above and beyond for guests. The location is okay, within reasonable distance of fast food and sit-down restaurants. It’s on a one-way road, the entrance can be hard to spot if you’re new to the area, and the three-way intersection about 100 feet away makes getting out a little tricky. The rooms were the weak point. They’re dated, like stepping into the late 80s or early 90s, though the air conditioning is great and the place feels a bit homey. Some rooms showed signs of water damage or possible mold or mildew. There were roaches in both rooms: one on the first room’s pillow, and several in the suite. They hid under the couch and kept to themselves after that. The hotel is open-air, so you can hear neighbors on the walkways and kids banging on doors while you’re trying to sleep. Weed and cigarette smoke drift through too, and it gets worse later at night. The location came second and the rooms last, after the excellent service. It’s a place to stay for a few days to a week, so don’t expect a Marriott. Unlike a Marriott, they don’t have 700+ rooms to cover, and can take time to clean, help, and look after guests.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff stayed kind and helpful throughout our visit. Check-in was easy, and I’d happily return to this hotel.

I was stranded waiting for a tow truck, and the staff did everything they could to help and put my mind at ease. The room was clean and spacious.
