Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel

The hot tubs were amazing, and I had them to myself. It seemed nobody else was interested in swimming, which suited me just fine. The building felt secure, including the pool area, which you needed a key to enter. Check-in and checkout were both easy, and the staff were genuinely helpful. The room seemed fine at first, until I found a lot of mold in the bathtub. That’s not ideal and could be unsafe. Management responded promptly when I reported it and said they’d address it. I’m giving a more positive review because they took the concern seriously. It was a comfortable stay with good staff and amenities, though I hope that maintenance issue gets fully resolved.

We had a quiet, peaceful stay and didn’t feel rushed at the 11am checkout. Ivo and Yash were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, and even upgraded our room at no extra charge. The hotel is very close to Universal and offers a shuttle to the parks. There’s also a pool, hot tub, and basketball court. I’d stay here again and recommend it.

We travel to Orlando regularly as Universal annual pass holders, and our stays at the BW have always been great. The staff are professional, polite, and very accommodating. They go out of their way to help, which means a lot when you’re traveling with kids. Rooms are clean and nice, and the location works really well for Universal and other attractions. Definitely recommend staying here.

I’d had a long day of travel after another reservation was canceled, so I booked this place at the last minute. Luciana, the Front Desk Supervisor, was calm and welcoming while I was rearranging my plans, and her service made me feel at home. She gave me her favorite room, and I saw the next morning how beautiful the lake is, especially early in the day. The room, stay, and service were all excellent.
