Extended Stay America Suites Orlando Southpark Commodity Cir

We couldn't find another hotel, so my son and I endured three nights. We didn't trust the sheets, so we slept on top of the covers with layers of clothes for blankets. My son even used his backpack as a pillow because he didn't trust the one on the bed. On our last morning, he spotted a huge bug that looked like a cockroach near the other bed. We packed and left. The room was dirty, with mold in the bathroom, dusty surfaces, marks from pop or water glasses on the furniture, and sheets that looked unclean. We tried to find somewhere else as soon as we got in. The hall was dirty and smelled of marijuana, and the cigarette odor was strong by the elevator. The elevator itself sounded as if it might crash. This was the worst hotel stay we've ever had. We wouldn't recommend this place or its related properties to anyone. The area felt totally sketchy.

The breakfast bar could use some changes, and the property has maintenance issues that need attention. Still, it's decent for the money, and I'd recommend it. The staff are friendly and accommodating with my requests. Ms. Launa and Ms. Stephanie deserve a special mention for being considerate, professional, and doing extra to make me comfortable.

The employees were kind, though it was clear they were badly understaffed, and I feel for them. The hotel itself was disgusting. Stale cigarettes and weed stank up the whole place, and other guests were loud at all hours of the night and morning. My room was rundown and didn't seem properly cleaned. There was mold and rust in the bathroom, the carpet was a mess, and roaches were everywhere. You'd be better off sleeping in your car. Don't stay here.

Assistant Manager Hector made a real difference. He was attentive and professional from the moment I arrived, and his help made everything smoother and more enjoyable. He clearly takes pride in his work and cares about guests. My room at the Extended Stay America Suites on Commodity Circle in Orlando was clean and comfortable, just right for my trip. I appreciated the warm hospitality and would happily stay at this location again. Highly recommend it.
