The pool is great, and the place is very clean, with outdoor BBQ grills and games for kids. The jacuzzi was clean and okay, though its jets weren't very strong. Staff were friendly, but seemed annoyed sometimes. Housekeeping changes towels only once every three days. There's no continental breakfast, just a brown bag of items delivered to the room, so you don't get to choose what you have. The room is dated, the coffee pot and dishwasher leak, and only one ice machine works. There's no complimentary coffee, snack area, or vending. I'd give it a 3.5, and without better amenities I wouldn't stay again.

The bed and pillows were comfortable, and everything was clean. The room and location were solid for the price, so it wasn't the worst stay. But the advertised breakfast is just a grab-and-go bag with a cinnamon roll, fruit cup, and juice box. That's not enough to plan a meal around, especially when other locations have a fuller breakfast. The shuttle was limited too, with only one morning trip at 8 am, despite the parks, at least Universal, opening at 10, plus one return trip. That didn't help with planning.

Do not stay here, and don't use Expedia either. We were given a dirty room with a roach, a smell, stained carpet, banged-up doors that looked like a motel, and scratched furniture. I think the hotel puts Expedia guests in its worst rooms. I demanded a refund, but they said no.
