Hilton Garden Inn Orlando International Drive North

We booked through AAA and were happy with the clean room and the microwave and mini fridge. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, which were nothing fancy but pleasant on a coolish day. The elevators seemed a little questionable, though they got us where we needed to go. The hotel is close to Seaworld, and we used the free shuttle. It was a decent stay, and we'd go back.

The room was newly refurbished, quiet, clean, and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. There was no parking fee, and the shuttle to Universal was easy to use. We also liked the tiki bar and fire pit on a chilly evening, though the mixed drinks were way too sweet and not good. We'll definitely stay here again.

Our only real complaint was the pillows. They were all different sizes, and none felt comfortable. One was noticeably bigger than the other three, but wasn't comfortable either. Two smaller ones were hard, dense, and flat, and the last was another size and just as uncomfortable. Folding it over didn't help. If we'd stayed a third night, I probably would've needed a chiropractor. As it is, I may be able to move my neck again by Tuesday. Everything else was great. The building and rooms were clean and bright, the staff were amazing, and the two women in the dining room were especially friendly and helpful. It's about a nine-minute drive to Universal. We were quite happy with the stay and will keep it in mind for future visits.

The hotel was clean and good, and breakfast was included, though you kind of have to tip. We mostly used Uber and Lyft to get to the parks instead of the shuttle, which had a restrictive schedule, required advance registration, and came with other complications. The pillows were awful and had no support. Foam pillows were a little better, but they'd run out. At 5 a.m. on our last morning, the fire alarm went off twice and we evacuated both times. That can happen anywhere, but this alarm was caused by the kitchen.
