We spent most of our time enjoying the pool area. The pools were fantastic, and the cave connecting two of them was such a fun, unusual feature. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and gave the place a resort-like feel. Parking costs a bit much. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well furnished, with good beds. The property was well maintained and made a great spot to relax.

We enjoyed the lake and had a great time on the pedal bicycle boats. The pool never felt crowded, and there was wildlife all around. It's easy to get here, and only a VERY short Uber ride to Disney Springs. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. The lobby is lovely, and Merlot is such a unique touch. They switched our room from pool view to lake view, which was technically a “downgrade,” but we still liked it. We could see the Magic Kingdoms nightly fireworks from the room. After a short resort break meant to disconnect from work, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort delivered. We'll keep booking it as one of our Orlando hotel choices.

We had a really nice long weekend, especially thanks to the pools and the water activities on the property. They made the stay both fun and relaxing. Service was excellent, with friendly, helpful, attentive staff throughout. Some rooms seem a bit dated and could use an update. The elevators also got crowded at times.

Chance, one of the pool waiters, took such good care of us all weekend and kept the virgin daiquiris coming. When I asked casually about whipped cream, they didn't have any at the time, but he remembered and made sure it was available the next day. That thoughtful detail says a lot about his service. And Merlot was always there to say hello! This past weekend at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress was incredible and will always mean a lot to us. My husband surprised me by proposing all over again at this beautiful, relaxing resort, which has endless amenities. He recently started working for Hyatt, so experiencing its hospitality firsthand made the trip even more meaningful. The staff were wonderful, and the memories are priceless. Thank you, Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, for a weekend we'll cherish, and thanks to Chance for making it sweeter. We can't wait to come back! ❤️🍹✨💍
