We needed a ground-floor room because there's no elevator to the second floor. The location was convenient for the amusement parks and for taking the I-Ride trolley to the convention center for a volleyball tournament. The event doubled the rates, which is typical for large venues. We would absolutely stay again. It's an older hotel, but nicely renovated, clean, and comfortable, with good beds, a nice shower, a bathroom fan, and plenty of charging outlets. Coffee was good and breakfast okay. It’s pet friendly, with a military discount, free parking, and wifi.

The hall and back-stair carpets were pretty gross and smelled bad, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom seemed recently renovated. Having a fridge and microwave in the room was handy. I didn't try breakfast, so can't comment on that. The free shuttle runs to IOA and US once in the morning and once in the evening, but the times didn't work for us, so we took cheap Ubers to the parks and back. The location was amazing for Epic and the other two Universal parks. You get what you pay for, though I was pleasantly surprised. I'd stay again, especially for the parks.

Breakfast was the highlight, with hot food, plenty of other choices, and even Mickey Mouse waffles. The host did a great job keeping everything running smoothly. Our ground-floor room, number 179, was spotless and very quiet despite being just off a main road. The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and the toiletries were nice. The pool looked great too. For the good price we paid, this was an excellent value and exceeded expectations.

They let me check in at 9:30 am after my flight problems left me exhausted. The young woman who helped was very kind. Some parts of the property are still being renovated, but everything else was great. Staff were friendly, and the location was excellent. We took an Uber to Universal Studios for about $8. There’s also free transportation to the parks, but we were never ready in time. The Uber was still inexpensive. Breakfast is basic, in my opinion, but it saves time and money. If you're not extremely picky, this place is great. There are no elevators during the renovations, but it's only two levels, so that wasn't an issue for me.

The hotel was clean and the people were friendly, but sleep was a problem. We were on the first floor and could hear everyone coming and going. Employees arrived at 5am and stood there gossiping and laughing, which woke us up. It felt awkward to be woken by the staff, and the lack of sleep made the stay exhausting.
