Monumental Hotel Orlando

The front desk team were friendly, professional, and helpful the whole time. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well kept, and the common areas were clean too. I also enjoyed the clean, relaxing pool after long days. Monumental Hotel Orlando was a great value, and I’d definitely stay again.

Keeping it short: it wasn't worth staying there. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillow had no fluff at all. I had to fold it in half for any support. The tub had a huge stain, ants were crawling on the bathroom floor, and the AC unit, the kind you put in an outside window, was disgusting around it. The whole place gave me bad vibes, so I stayed one night instead of two. For the price, they really need to improve and upgrade a lot.

The room was a mess from the start. The carpet was dirty, and the stained chair wasn’t fit to sit on. When I pulled back the thin blanket, it was obvious the sheets hadn’t been changed, with black hair and dirt streaks on them. There were questionable stains on the side of the bed too. The sink was broken, and the toilet was dirty. I called the front desk and waited over an hour with no solution. They seemed impossible to reach. Never again. I was bamboozled by the way the place looked. Getting to the front desk was a long way, and the hotel wasn’t handicap friendly or physically accessible. There’s no room service, and cleaning staff only come every two days.

I loved this place. It’s beautiful, the pool is amazing, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. They also offered me a free late checkout, and the service was great. Restaurants are within walking distance. I’ll definitely come back.
