Quality Inn Orlando Near International Drive Hotel

The area is beautiful, with lots of places to eat and things to do within walking distance, and there was plenty of parking. I stayed one night and would come back. All the employees were kind, and the front desk was consistently attentive. Breakfast had several choices, including waffles, cereal, toast, and yogurt. The bed was so comfortable.

The front desk guy was nice, and the bed at least seemed clean. That’s the good I can say about this place. I don’t recommend staying here. I was in town for work for four nights, and my employer had booked the room. The week was busy and there weren’t other hotels available, or I would have left after the first night. The room smelled constantly of mildew, mold, damp clothes, and stale, muggy air. I thought I might get used to it, but I smelled it every minute I was in there. After work each day I left the door open to air it out, which helped only a little. The floors and bathroom were dirty, and the bathroom had no toilet paper holder. I also noticed police driving around the parking lot several times every night. One star.

The building was run down, and the hallway rugs looked like they’d been flooded in two places. Our room’s air conditioning didn’t work, so we were moved to another room, which was the one blessing. The shower knob would only give extremely hot water, and the internet didn’t work. I could keep ranting, but there’s barely room for it.

The front desk staff were very kind, and the breakfast area lady was super sweet. The hotel is well priced and in a good spot, with stores and restaurants close enough to walk to, so you don’t need many Uber trips. It looks like it was renovated before; my room had a few bathroom details, but the condition was acceptable. Breakfast was simple, with coffee, juice, fruit, and bread. They offered me a card for 20% off at DENYS and free transportation to disney park. I think the hotel gives you what you pay for.
