Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Orlando Resort & Suites Intl Drive

We stayed for two weeks and were very happy, so the negative reviews didn't match our experience at all. It's a budget hotel, but the beds were super comfy, the lake view was beautiful, and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance. The iRide bus stop is right outside. Breakfast is free and has loads of choices, including a pancake machine, bagels, waffles, fruit, granola, yoghurt, cereal, bread for toast, juice, and coffee. Housekeeping every three days worked fine for us. We had plenty of towels and toilet roll, and reception said they'd help if we needed anything in between. The free WiFi was fast and unlimited too. The hotel shuttle to Universal was good, but you have to book the day before and its fixed times didn't work for us. We walked 10 minutes up the road to Endless Summer instead. Its shuttle to Universal runs every 15 minutes and is free to the public and hotel guests. I checked with Universal first. I'd absolutely come back to i-drive.

My co-workers and I had a terrible experience, especially for what we paid during convention season. We asked for early check-in, but the rooms weren't ready, and it took eight hours before we could get in. There were plenty of us attending a big convention that week, so you'd think the hotel would be prepared. Once we finally got to our rooms, a few people had TV problems. Mine made a static pop every five to ten seconds. Cleaning staff were also extremely noisy in the hall. I'm no prima donna, but this was awful. We won't make the mistake of staying here again.

The views made the room feel bright and relaxing, with the lake on one side and the city on the other. We stayed seven nights during our New Year's trip to Disney World and found the room a good size. Housekeeping came every three nights to clean and restock, which worked well for us. Breakfast was served early with basic options, but there might not be much left if you arrive later since they don't refill it. For the price and how close it is to Disney World, we thought it was worth it. It's comfortable and reasonably priced, which suited us as a family spending most of our time in the parks. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a convenient, budget-friendly Orlando stay.

This was our second time staying here for an Orlando theme park holiday, and I have no complaints. The best part is that parking is free, which helps it stand out from a lot of other hotels. It's great value in a good location, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The room had everything we needed. It's not an expensive, top-tier flashy hotel, but it isn't meant to be.
