Universal's Stella Nova Resort

Staff were exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient everywhere we went, from the front desk and shop to the lobby and pool bars. Stella Nova is a very reasonably priced, brand new hotel so close to Epic Universe, and the buses run steadily, though afternoons mean a longer wait. The ride from the Stella Nova stop to the Citywalk stop takes about 15 minutes. The pool is spacious and has a hot tub and splash pad. There’s a small food court with a decent breakfast selection, plus a little convenience store with Starbucks coffee. We didn’t try that area for other meals. The large lobby fits the theme, but it feels a bit sterile to me and I’d prefer more color. Make sure to walk down the hall with the starry sky. I’d recommend staying here if most of your trip is focused on Epic, and I enjoyed my stay.

My 15 year son and I had a great boys trip. The rooms are simple and clean, and the price is hard to beat, with good value for the money. Staff everywhere were super nice and helpful. EPIC is an 8 min walk, and they also have buses to all the parks.

The path for walking sounded like a nice perk, but after a long park day, walking was the last thing we wanted to do. We did use the laundry, which was quick and cheap. Parking was easy to access and reasonably priced, and the free shuttles came often for all three parks. The staff were very kind, the room was clean and efficiently laid out, and the hotel food was decent at a fair price. We enjoyed the relaxing pool and hot tub, plus the games and small outdoor beach area. A wonderful place to stay for the parks.

The walk to the new EPIC park was a real plus. We went two days in a row and it was easy to head back to the room when we needed a break. The shuttles also cover all the Universal parks, so getting around Orlando after flying in was simple without renting a car, unless you want to go beyond Universal. The space theme is fun and adds a little pizzazz to the essentials. From check-in through check-out, the service was exceptional, and the amenities were all fantastic. Someone called Stella Nova a Universal budget hotel, but it certainly didn’t feel that way. Highly recommend it for the walk to EPIC and the shuttles everywhere else.
