Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay, and THANKS RAY!! We spent three nights here while I attended a family reunion up whiskey creek. The bed was comfy, the air conditioner worked well, and the room was exceptionally clean. The fish cleaning room was also clean and nice, with a high-pressure hose for rinsing fish. I liked chatting with the down-to-earth people I met in the parking lot. It was really quiet, though someone above us needed to learn to walk more gently, which got real annoying. One guy at the fish cleaning sink was arrogant. When I asked if I could squeeze in to clean my trout, he snapped, "well, do you have a room here?" I said yes and asked if he did. I measured my trout at 19 inches, but he insisted it was only seventeen. He said he was an old carpenter. I can't believe he couldn't accept that it was 19. Dude was from Missoula, no more has to be said.

We come every year for a motorcycle weekend stopover, and it's excellent for that. The owners are awesome, and the location works great for day rides. Elk City or LoLo pass are must do! The steak dinner is amazing, and it's so large that my wife and I share it. The price is very affordable, and they even have a poop and hot tub.

For an overpriced motel room, this felt VERY DATED. The fixtures and door key seem stuck in the 70s, and the old hotel smell was musty. I stayed one night. The outside of the building looks run down and the parking lot is in terrible shape. Better value around $45 a night.

After a long, hot day riding, the pool and hot tub were great, and the patio tables were nice and clean. The rooms were spacious, everything was surprisingly clean and comfortable, and the beds were comfortable too. Breakfast was the usual continental kind, but the staff serving it were friendly and helpful. The owners clearly take pride in giving guests a good stay. You can't beat the price!
