The units were clean, updated, and had everything we needed. The layout worked especially well for our family gathering, and Sunset Beach made a perfect vacation for us. We’ll definitely return.

Waking up in bed to that beautiful lake view was such a treat. Our unit at Sunset Beach Resort was impressively clean and new, and we loved our stay. Can’t wait to come back!

The staff checked in with us on our second day to make sure we were enjoying the room and ask if they could improve anything. We appreciated how attentive they were. We loved the outdoor choices just steps from our cabin. We could sit in the sun on the turf and watch boats come in, or relax under the shaded patio. The three-bedroom unit was comfortable and thoughtfully laid out, with an open plan that made it easy for everyone to spend time together inside and out. We had an amazing stay.

We liked the cabin and its outdoor sitting area, and could hear live music from across the lake. The only downsides were that the air conditioning wouldn’t go below 72 and a handrail would be preferable on the steps down to the cabin.

For a quiet night or a short weekend away, this is a relaxed, pleasant place close to the water. The rooms are simple but comfortable enough if a peaceful setting and good location matter more to you than luxury.
