The Skyline Motel

The location worked well for my business, with two fast food places across the street and a restaurant less than a football field away. I was very happy with the price for a month, and I’d stay here again. The room was clean, quiet, and private, and the owner was respectful, courteous, and helpful. They didn’t get in my business, and the owner was available if I needed any amenities. Neighbors were what you’d expect in a motel setting, and there are cameras around the property, so security is evident. 10/10.

This was our second time here, and it’s a fun group of people. Lots of folks sit out front at the tables and chairs to chat. If you’re riding, it’s a great spot, with bikes parked right in front of our room. The pool hours are extended as long as everyone keeps quiet after 10.

The room was simple and clean, just right for our weekend, and the photos really don’t show how nice the place is. I especially liked having a chair right outside each room, where we could take our coffee in the morning. When my fiancee and I arrived, the woman who runs the motel with her husband checked us in. She was so sweet and welcoming that I felt more like I was staying with friends than at a motel. If we’re back in the area, we’ll stay here again.

Richard, the owner, was warm and courteous, and did everything he could to make my visit go well. He really goes above and beyond for guests. The rooms feel like a home away from home, and I was glad to have such a lovely time with my Angels in Missouri for a good price. I came from Maryland to visit my daughters over the December holidays. I’ll probably become a regular guest at Skyline Motel. Thanks, Skyline Motel. I’ll be back. M.A.
