Budget Inn

I’d stay here again whenever I’m in the area and need a place. The room was well worth what I paid, and honestly it was nicer than I expected. Places I’ve paid much more for weren’t as nice. It’s called Budget Inn for a reason, though, so keep that in mind.

The place doesn't look like much at first, but the rooms are exceptionally clean and the service is outstanding. I took a chance on it during our first visit, then picked it again for a longer second trip. We'll definitely stay here whenever we come to Oskaloosa to watch the Statesmen lacrosse team.

We came for the nationals last weekend, and the owner took time to help us. She was very sweet, and the cleaning staff were awesome too. They all seemed to work well as a team. The room was great, clean, and smelled nice. I checked the beds and bathroom and saw no signs of bed bugs. The only suggestion I have is touching up the walls, which had lots of small nicks, maybe from moving furniture. The room wasn't dingy, and the white walls made it feel brighter and bigger than motels with dark walls. The price was decent for the event, and I'd definitely recommend staying here.

I slept like a baby here. The rooms are super clean, cozy, warm, and inviting, and the security cameras throughout helped me feel secure. I was taken aback by how gorgeous the rooms were, you have to see them to believe it, especially at those prices. The town is friendly, beautiful, and clean, and I've met great people from out of town as well as fantastic people from the area. Thanks to the owners and staff for making the stay so welcoming.
