The deck off our top-floor suite looked over the river, with gorgeous views, and the playground kept my girls happily occupied every day. I could sit in the shade and watch them from a chair. The room was spacious and clean, with a separate bedroom for my husband and me, plus a trundle bed the girls loved. Breakfast had eggs, waffles, muffins, toast, bagels, English muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, cereal, orange juice, milk, water, and a choice of tea or coffee. My only complaint was the sound from the neighbors’ back deck. I could hear them clearly from my room and was woken each morning when they opened the door and talked outside. I didn’t have any other noise issues.

The owners were very friendly, and after a long day of ice climbing, the hot tub felt amazing. Our room was comfortable and clean. We could walk to the ice park as well as the restaurants and shops downtown. Great stay!

We had a great honeymoon here this past week and would happily stay again. The room was spacious, really nice, and very clean, and everyone was kind and accommodating. The location worked perfectly for us, just a few blocks from downtown and a short walk from box canyon.

There were lovely mountain views, and we could spot wildlife as well as stars at night. You can hear the river rushing behind the motel, while Main Street is about three blocks away, far enough that street noise didn’t bother us. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and loved it. The owners were gracious and helpful, our room was immaculate and smelled fresh, and we had no complaints. We’d highly recommend the hotel and plan to return.

The Ouray Victorian Inn is a good choice for a stay in town, with shops, Box Canyon, Cascade Falls, and the Perimeter Trail all within walking distance. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and well heated through the frigid winter weather. Breakfast is included and served by friendly staff. I especially appreciated that the inn welcomes pets. You’re not meant to leave your pet alone in the room, which can be difficult, but that policy is common at hotels, so I understand. All in all, we had a great stay.
