Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa North/Owasso

The person on duty, Emily, communicated very well with us and our downstairs neighbor. But the construction is still a problem. With wood framing, no concrete, and thin walls, you can hear people in nearby rooms. I could feel someone walking or flushing nearby, and this was the first time at a Hampton that people could hear us enough to ask management to quiet us down. My earlier paragraph hasn’t changed. When management replied with a generic answer that didn’t address the building construction, I lowered my rating from 3 stars to 2.

Brittany was a big help mailing back something our 9-year-old left behind, and our daughter was so excited when the package arrived. Night auditor Rick was super kind too. We’ll make this our go-to hotel when visiting family in Tulsa.

We had a quiet stay, and the breakfast was quite good. The service was great, and the room worked perfectly for us between flights. There’s a mall with food options and stores within walking distance.

The gym was really nice and had good equipment, and I liked the view from the odd-numbered rooms. There’s a little water inlet with ducks swimming around, and you can’t see or hear the highway as much from there. The location is convenient. But the beds were stiff and made sleeping hard, the fire alarm light blinked every minute or two, and the pool was hot and humid. It’s summer, and they hadn’t opened the windows. Breakfast was poor too. The eggs were microwaved from a bag, the worst breakfast bar I’ve had at a Hampton Inn.
